Stella was discovered in a garage in a place called Barretos, north west of Sao Paulo, Brazil. This Kombi was used to deliver mail across Barretos for many years for a company called Correios \u2013 the national postal service of Brazil. As Barretos is a very dry part of Brazil, Stella was in excellent condition with barely any rust. We drove this Kombi from Barretos to Sao Paulo for the first stage of the restoration, which took 3 months. Stella was then shipped from Santos to Melbourne where further restoration work was carried out including a brand new platinum vintage interior and the finishing touches. Stella\u2019s best feature is her rag-top roof \u2013 it folds back to open up the roof, which is a great feature for photos.<\/p>\n
